Howdy! Thank you so much for stopping by our little store. Here's some useful information to know before you order from the shop:

Zine Quirks

Zines, like people, aren't perfect - and that's totally okay. We do our best to line up edges, fold paper smoothly, and cut and staple with care, but sometimes the paper just isn't cooperating, and things don't turn out exactly as we'd like. Printers can be finicky too! But honestly, that's part of what makes the zine process special. Those little imperfections of life and handmade touches remind us that they're crafted by people. We do try to keep things neat, but each zine ends up with its own unique charm.

Packaging

At Bikkie Bytes LLC., we genuinely care about earth care, people care, and fair share - and that passion shows in our choice of packaging materials.

We love finding creative ways to reduce waste by reusing materials, and making the most out of what’s already around us, so you might receive a zine in an envelope that’s been around for over 20 years or a new, eco-friendly brown paper mailer.

No matter what, we ensure our packaging is always safe, clean, and eye-catching, so opening it feels just as exciting and special as what’s inside!

Generally speaking, we have an assortment of letter-style envelopes for smaller zines and stickers that we’ll buffer with paper to ensure it arrives in the best shape.

For larger purchases or zines we use large sturdy stay-flat mailers. What you end up receiving will ultimately come down to what we have on hand first over procuring new packaging.

Processing & Shipping

We’ll do our best to process and ship your order quickly and safely.

If you’re ordering something as a gift or for a special occasion, please give yourself plenty of time for it to arrive. If you need it sent out urgently, there is an option for USPS 2-Day Expedited Shipping, or drop us a note in the comments when purchasing - we’ll do our best to make it happen!

We ship all orders via USPS within 3 working days.

Sometimes it takes a bit longer, especially during busy seasons. If you haven’t received a shipping notification within that time, or if you’re wondering about your order status, feel free to send us an email at howdy@bikkiebytes.com. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

For smaller items and orders, we will use Standard First-Class Mail, but larger or heavier parcels might automatically go out via Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. Larger orders will have free tracking included.

If your order says it’s arrived but you can’t find it, give it around 3 days. Packages sometimes get delayed, are sitting behind porch furniture, or are at a neighbors house. Still no sign after that? Reach out to us! We’re dedicated to making sure you get your goodies and will look into it to make it right.

International Shipping

Thank you so much for your interest in our products. Currently, we’re only able to ship within the USA, but if you’re outside the country and REALLY want to make a purchase, please drop us a line at howdy@bikkiebytes.com and we’ll figure it out! 🙂

We’re new to having an online shop and still figuring everything out, so we truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we grow!

Returns

At this point we’re currently not accepting returns or exchanges.

BUT if something’s not right with your order, or if your package arrived damaged, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to help, and can figure out the best solution together!

If your parcel was damaged, it’d be great if you could send a few photos of the carnage to howdy@bikkiebytes.com. We’ll make sure to get your goodies replaced - no worries!
